DID NOT RENEW RADIO LICENSES.
WELLINGTON, July 15. I “By notice in the Gazette the Minister of Telegraphs has made it clear that every holder of a radio license must dismantle the set within fourteen days of the expiration of the license, that is if he does not wish to renew it,” said Mr Tudhope, who appeared for the Department in two cases today. Defendants were fined £2. A fine of 10s was imposed on another defendant for erecting and using a set before a license had been obtained.
