' As a sequel to a police raid on the Victoria Hotel, Auckland, William Edward Watson and Archibald Hodgson were each fined £1 for drinking during prohibited hours. Watson was fined an additional £2 for giving a false name. Nicholas Leslie Iligginson, the licensee, and Arthur James Hickmott, the barman, were fined £3 and £1 for selling and supplying liquor respectively.
