TOTE RECEIPTS SHOW DECLINE IN AUCKLAND.
(Special to the “ .Star.”) AUCKLAND, June 23. A considerable decline is shown in the totalisator receipts for racing and trotting in the Auckland province this season, which came to an end with the second day of the Auckland Trotting Chib’s winter meeting yesterday. The total receipts were £2.582,023. compared with £2,964,572, a decrease of £382.549. The Trotting Club’s winter decline was £13,156. Figures for the past three seasons 1921-25.
