SEWER EXTENSIONS DELAY “STAR” DELIVERIES.
Complaints of the late delivery of Saturday's “Star” have been received from various quarters, and the publisher wishes to point out that in every case the complaints come from subscribers in areas where sewerage excavations are in progress. Salesmen in some cases cannot drive or ride along these thoroughfares, and in any case they have to* go very carefully. It is hoped, however, that notwithstanding these difficulties it will possible to avoid unreasonable delays in future.
