THIEVES STEAL MONEY FROM PICTURE THEATRE.
A daring theft was committed at Everybody’s Theatre on Saturday night when a young man thrust his hand through the hole in the glass front of the cashier’s window and made off with notes to the value of £2O 10s. The incident occurred as the cashier was making up the day’s takings. The girl gave the alarm and tlie caretaker, doorkeeper and another ticket cashier gave chase. The thief, accompanied by another man, ran off down Chancery Lane and escaped. The police were immediately notified, but have so far found no trace of the thieves.
