MAGIC HAND BETTER THAN HUMAN PILOT.
(Special to the “ Star.”) LONDON. November 16. Imperial Airways (the leading British commercial aviation organisation) is testing an “automatic pilot,” which is a gyroscope device to control an aeroplane’s rudder and ailerons (movable planes on the wings), for the purpose of keeping the aircraft “ on an even keel” in flight.
