FURTHER PERMIT FOR ADDINGTON PETROL TANKS REQUIRED.
A new development has taken place in connection with the application of the Vacuum Oil Company for permission to instal underground petrol storage tanks at the corner of Hazeldean and Park Roads, Addington. At the last meeting of the City Council, it was finally decidedto grant a permit for the installation of the tanks but it wa3 subsequently found that another permit for faying pipes under the roadway from the railway aiding to the tanks would be necessary. This matter is now the subject of a further application to the council, which will deal with it at its meeting next Monday. Iri the meantime the work of clcar- -■-*» the site has been started.
