KRAS SIN'S FUNERAL IMPOSING AFFAIR.

In a coffin resting on a red pall and surrounded by four black-robed and red-ribboned guards of honour, two men and two girls, M. Krassin lay in state in the reception hall, which was draped in black and red, at Che sham House, the headquarters of the Soviet Embassy. M. Krassin’s funeral was made the occasion of an imposing Communist demonstration to Golders Green cemetery. Five thousand formed the procession, wearing red favours. The service at, the crematorium comprised eulogia and music. The ashes were taken to the Embassy for burial under the walls of the Kremlin. Thirty motors left the Embassy for Golders Green, the chief mourners riding in a magnificent Rolls Royce with red flags on the bonnet. The coffin was covered with a red pall.
