WOOD SHAVINGS BURN; FIRE BRIGADE CALLED.
At ten minutes past eight this m6rntiig, the Fire Brigade received a call from 7, Faraday Street, Sydenham, where a pile of wood shavings at the rear of a four-roomed dwelling belonging to Mr George Egan had caught fire. "The small blaze was easily extinguished, no damage being done.
