TWO MINERS BLOWN TO PIECES IN PIT.

Variessetfca, working at the 1300 feet level in the British mine at Broken Hill, bored into a “miss hole.” An explosion followed and both were blown to pieces. Their remains had to be brought to the surface in sacks.
