Yesterday afternoon, on the Christ’s College ground, a match was played between the College first eleven and Mr W. J. V. Hamilton’s team. College batted first, declaring when 99 had been made for the loss of five wickets (Williams 28, Murray 22, Roberts 19), Findlay took two for 17 and R. C. Hamilton two for 13. Mr Hamilton’s team made 316 for seven wickets (Robertson 56 retired, Condliffe 18, W. J. V. Hamilton 16, and R. C. Hamilton not out 16). For College Bean took four wickets for 62 runs. TOWN V. COUNTRY MATCH. The following team has been selected to represent the Sub-Associations in a match against a Canterbury eleven on December 8 at Lancaster Park: D. Nixon, J. Mayo, J. H. Bennett, H.
