WEDDING. FRAS E R—S U LLIV AN. A pretty wedding was celebrated at the Catholic Cathedral, Barbadoes Street, this morning, when Mary, onl> daughter of Mr and Mrs J. Sullivan, of Temuka, was married to Edward, second son of Mr R. Fraser and the late Mrs Fraser, Opawa Downs, Alburv. Father O’Regan officiated at the ceremony. The bride, who was given away by Mr Frank Quinn, looked most attractive in her bridal gown of ivory embossed satin, made with a plain bodice, and an overskirt of fine cream lace which was attached to the bodice in large scallops outlined with pearls, and the long sleeves were also of lace. A spray of orange blossom buds was worn at one side of the low waist line. Hanging in graceful folds forming a train, her prettily embroidered tulle veil was arranged with orange blossom sprays at each side, and she carried a sheaf of arum lilies. Miss Edna Fenr* attended the bride, and wore a girlish frock of crocus mauve georgette, made with a long bodice, and a narrow ruching of the material weighing the skirt hem, and a berthe collar of cream lace, and a beaded pearl motif was worn at the waist. Her mob cap of tulle to tone was held with a circlet of small pink flowers and mauve ribbon streamers at one side. She also carried a sheaf of aruyi lilies tied with mauve ribbon. Mr Robert Fraser attended the bridegroom as best man. Following the ceremony a reception, was held at Dixieland, where the tables were decorated with mauve and pink flowers. Mrs Sullivan, who received the guests, wore a smart gown of navy blue jersey silk, a navy crinoline straw hat, with a wide ribbon bow on the brim, and carried a fox fur. Miss Power, aunt of the bridegroom, wore a frock of black marocain, with a vest of^. brightly patterned silk, and a small black hat, with, a wallflowershaded mount across the front. When the bride left for her wedding trip she wore an ensemble suit, the frock being of striped silk, and the tailored coat of deep royal blue, and an amber-shaded crinoline straw hat, with ribbon velvet and flower trimming, and carried a fox* fur.
