There was a representative attendance of the newspaper staffs, over which Mr G. Renner presided. The following officers were elected:— President, Mr J. Jackman: vice-presi-dents, Messrs A. G. Hezlehurst; club captain, Mr L. Guiney; honorary auditors, Messrs A. Cant and F. H. C. GaJe; management committee. Messrs H. J. Fleming, D. Morgan, F. C. Davies, H. Bell, F. Walls and J. A. Gasson; office delegates, Messrs L. Guiney, D. Morgan and J. A. Gasson; honorary secretary and treasurer, Mr W. .T. Richards. The office delegates were instructed to report to the management committee next Tuesday as to the membership offering. From indications given at the meeting, the success of the club is assured. An endeavour is being made for a club team to play Weedons at Weedons on Saturdaj\ VETERANS* CLUB. The following players will represent the Veterans’ Cricket Club in their match against the T. and G.
