VICTIM OF COLLISION DIES IN HOSPITAL.
Stephen Payne, badly injured m a collision with a motor van on Thursday, died at the Christchurch Hospital this morning. Last Thursday Payne was cycling across the intersection of Lin wood Avenue and Cashel Street when the fatal collision occurred. He was thrown to the ground, suffering concussion. Last night he underwent an operation, but his condition did not improve. Payne was forty-five years of age and lived at 36, Mackworth Street, Woolston.
