MACHINIST INJURED IN A SAWMILL.
Per Press Association. WHANGAREI, November 19. When Alfred Shaw, aged thirty-six, a machinist, was feeding a planing machine at Foster and Telfer's sawmill at Whangarei yesterday afternoon, his foot came in contact with a blade. Four toes were amputated at the hospital this morning.
