BOY DROWNED WHILE AWAY FROM SCHOOL WITHOUT AUTHORITY
Per Press Association. PUKEKOHE, November 19 Robert Oswald Blake, aged fifteen a son Of Mr J. A. Blake, Waiuku. was drowned at Ocean Beach, near Waiuku, yesterday. Three secondary school boys supposed to be at school, went to the beach instead. While bathing, Blake, who was unable to swim, got into difficulties. The efforts of his companions to rescue him failed. Eventually the body was recovered.
