NOVELTY JAZZ COMPANY APPEARS ON MONDAY AT THEATRE ROYAL.

Theatre-lovers will he provided with an unusual entertainment when the

“Ferris Jazzland Revue Company” commence their season of six nights at. the Theatre Royal on Monday night. Varied and attractive-programmes of modern vaudeville and revue will lie pre'sented by these versatile performers who have been billed throughrut the United States as "America's greatest aggregation of coloured entertainers.” They have their own jazz band, in which there are no fewer than four lady players. Novelty acts, dancing, comedy, and musical turns are among the items that please, while those ever-popular Melodies,” have a high place on the programme. Two extremes are given in the dancing numbers, when the oldfashioned “Cake Walk” of world-wide fame, is performed as well as the equally famous American "Charleston.” A humorous number is the “One Man Quadrille.” To use an American expression. “the whole show is full of pep, and their middle name is jazz.” This company arrived in the Dominion direct from America by the R.M.S.
