“SWEET DADDIES” AT EVERYBODY’S IS UNUSUAL STORY.
“ Sw«st Paddies, *’ the First National picture which is being shown at Everybody’s Theatre, though essentially a comedy in spirit, the plot has been conceived with such subtle ingenuity that a light dramatic element frequently obtrudes itself by way of relief. Then, in addition, a delicate thread of romance runs through the picture. Film genius has brought these differing elements to an intriguing order, and the result is one of the most fascinating and satisfying productions of the year. The acting is excellent, the parts being taken by Charles Murray, George Sidney, Jack Mulhall and Jobyna Ralston. The second feature, “ The Sporting Chance." a Tiffany production, is one with an ingenious and interesting plot. The story is concerned with activities of the turf, and although there is an air of happy inconsequence about the play, it is far from being devoid of dramatic interest. The picture is excellently produced and the leading parts are played adequately by Unu Tellegen and Dorothy Phillips. Everybody’s Select Orchestra, under Mr W. J. Bellingham, F.S.M.. plays an excellent programme of incidental mugic.*
