NURSE GETS £2OO DAMAGES IN BREACH OF PROMISE CLAIM.
Per Press Association. WANGANUI, November 19. In a clai mfor £2OOO damages for beach of promise of marriage, Kathleen Scanlon, a nurse, obtained £2OO damages from Alexander Hannah, of Palmerston North, formerly- managing director of Manson Barr, and also a shareholder in the firm. The parties met last December. The engagement was a short one, starting in February and lasting only- a few months.
