LINWOOD CLUB. The monthly meeting of the executive of the above club was held last evening. The club captain, Mr C. S. Orchard, was in the chair, and others present were: M-essrs R. .1. Read, FI. Cl. Hutcheson (vice-president), J. Prosper, A\ . B. King, ■FS K. Bates, M. K. Boon, and the honorary secretary, K. H. Perrin. A motion of condolence was passed with the family of Air J- Bogie in their recent bereavement and the secretary was instructed to forward same on - „;; v vote of thanks was passed to the secretary for the amount of work he had put in, in arranging matches with Daifleld and I-lorrel ville on Babour Bay. The following n-ew menibers were elected: Messrs E. D. Burns, B. C. Muschamu. R- A. Hay, E. Ambrose, J. Hawsoil. J. W. D. Man ion, W. AVithers, T. W. ’ Michelson, V. W- Walton, \V. Christie, C. The secretary’s action in taking out an insurance policy on the material was endorsed. It was decided to strictly end6rse ihe list of defaulters suppUed by the Canterbury Athletic Clubs’ Protection Association by suspending players next Saturday.
