GAS INDICATES GREAT OIL WELL IN ALBERTA.

An important strike of gas, indicating what might be a great oil well, has been made in the Turner Valley district of South-west Alberta. There is much excitement over its development, and optimists are hopeful that the field will rival the Californian fields.
