WILHELM LIKELY TO RETURN TO DEUTSCHLAND.
EX-KAISER VERY BUSY AT DOORN. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Aus. and N.Z. Cable Association. LONDON, November S. The British United Press insists that there is a distinct movement afoot in Doom for the ex-Kaiser to return to Germany. To the outside world the announcement may come as a surprise, but to the inhabitants of Doom it has been obvious for months. Scores of prominent members of the Kaiser party have been making trips to Doom, and recently a number of conferences were held, and there have been frequent talks between visitors and Princess Hermine, but Count Finwho manages the ex-Kaiser’s affairs, has not participated. The telephones are constantly busy, and the work of postmen and telegraphists has multiplied considerably during the past weeks. Nothing is delivered direct to the house, but everything is left at the lodge where Count Finkenstein works. Princess Hermine and Count Finkenstein both suddenly departed for Germany. Persistent reports are current that Homburg Castle (recently ceded to the ex-Kaiser) is undergoing minor repairs. Weeks and possibly months will be necessary for preparing the ground work, but it is firmly believed in Doom that the ex-Kaiser will sooner pr later make a dash over the frontier. It is pointed out that similar happenings were connected with the Crown Prince, and_ that there were repeated denials until one day a large grey car sped through _ Holland to Germany. The same thing, it is contended, will happen with the ex-Kaiser.
