On the death-rate figures New Zealand ;tarts at 8.3, then Queensland, 8.9, Western Australia 9.1, South Australia 9.2, S'ew South Wales 9.4, Australia 9.5, Victoria 10.1, Tasmania 9.G, South Africa (white) 9.7, Canada (excluding Quebec) 9.8, Great Britain 12.6, Quebec L 3.3.
