GRAMOPHONE CAUSES INCREASED OUTPUT. By Telegraph.—Press Assn. —Copyright. A us. and N\Z. Cable Association. (Received October 4, 8.45 a.m.) PARIS, October 3. Following upon the Canadian experiments a dairy farmer at Auxerre installed a gramophone in the cowshed and milked his cows to the sound of music, the output being increased by 20 per cent. Later the cows were milked a second time to the melodies, and each cow responded with an additional pint.
