It is understood that the State Treasurer, in his budget speech on Tuesday, will announce the necessity tor increased taxation and the limitation of the Main. Roads Board revenue. It is also certain he will emphasise the necessity for additional railway revenue, but the derails of the increases are not yet finally decided.
