R.S.A. ANNUAL BALL.
Those who attended the annual ball of the. Returned Soldiers’.Association at Jelliooe Hall on Wednesday evening enjoyed to the full the many attractions provided for them. The hail was tastefully decorated with shrubs and palms, and Willyams’s band provided the music. During the evening the Misses Audibert and Hooper gave an exhibition of the Charleston, which was thoroughly enjoyed. The originality of the special items provided was a personal triumph for the energetic chairman of the dance committee, Mr H. Eleck, and he well earned the praise of all present by his ingenious method of showering confetti and streamers upon the dancers from apparently nowhere. The spotlight effects on the* electricallv controlled spinning cube were wonderful. The supper tables were tastefully decorated. In response t.o numerous requests, the novelties will be repeated at the Saturday mght dance to be held in the. Jellicoe Ilall.
