COBHAM DISAPPOINTED WITH SPEED ON FLIGHT.
HIGH WINDS AND DUST STORMS HAMPER HIM. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Aus. and X.Z. Cable Association. (Received Julv 23, 12.30 p.m.) DELHI, July 22. Captain Cobham has arrived at Allahabad. He complained that high winds and dust storms considerably interfered with his flight. He had not seen the sun since he left the Mediterranean and was thereby seriously hampered in making photographic surveys. His machine was working well and doing from ninety to ninety-five miles an hour. Its actual capacity was .110 miles an hour.
Captain Cobham is keenly disappointed, as he wanted to make the quickest possible passage to Australia. .
