IDEAL HOME EXHIBITION FOR CHRISTCHURCH.
Reporting to the executive of the Canterbury Industrial Association last evening, Mr E. 11. Marriner, chairman, said that the Ideal Home Exhibition Committees had met during the past month. Arrangements had been made for the use of several sheds at the Normal School, as well as the main building. The secretary (Mr Denys Iloare) said that sex-eral parts of the building had been allotted to sections. Advice had been obtained as to flood-lighting, outside. Inside lighting xvas under consideration. Mr W. j. Jenkin was attending to the musical arrangements. He had no fear as to the space not being taken, but help from manufacturers xvas needed. The chairman said that some of the amusements at the Dunedin Exhibition xvould be ax'ailable. They were proving very successful at the present industrial, exhibition in Wellington. Lady Alice Fergusson has been asked to open the exhibition.
