BIG FINES IMPOSED ON SPANISH PLOTTERS.

Following the discovery of the recent plot, the Government has decided to institute, in addition to ordinary legal penalties, a system of extraordinary fines for persons attempting to stir up trouble and impede the reconstruction of the country.
The list of fines gazetted includes 500,000 pesetas on Count Romanones. 200,000 on General Aguilcra and 100.000 each on General \Veyler, Dr Maranon and. «ax-Senator Manteca. Smaller fines are imposed on a. num» ber of sax—Deputies and other generals and- Colonels.
