J.une 1 Construction of a new residence for the superintendent of Hawaii National Park has begun under the supervision of Superintendent Thomas Boles The residence which is finished in lava rock obtained from the vicinity of the work, will stand on the rim of the greater crater of Kilauea, commanding a view of the immense lava fields jo the crater, the active firepit of Halemaumau, and the two peaks. Manna Loa and Mauna Kea.
