The Burnside works of the New Zealand Refrigerating Company will close down for the season on Wednesday next, Involving the unemployment of about seventy-fiA’e men. It is stated that killing at all southern freezing works has been lets than formerly, ov ing to the freer transport of 1a..:5 s and sheep to Canterbury Avurks.
