William Charles Wilson, alias Robert Curson, aged twenty-four, was charged at the Police Court with being a prohibited immigrant. The Crdwn alleged that defendant entered tfie Commonwealth on June 1 from New Zealand, where he had a long list of convictions. In September, 1925, he was sentenced to three years on Roto Roa Island, whence he escaped and came to Sydney. Wilson was sentenced to three months’ hard labour in order that the authorities could send him back to New Zealand.
