SUZANNE LENGLEN ON HOW TO PLAY TENNIS.
In this isstje Mile- Lenglen continues her series of exclusive articles on “ How to Play Lawn Tennis." cycle driven by Frederick John Ilempleman. A sanitary service cart was standing at the scene of the fatality. This apparently was not noticed by either and they collided head on with the vehicle. Bray was seriously injured and Hempieman suffered several abrasions. An ambulance was summoned as soon as possible and the men were taken to the hospital. Hempleman was found to l>e suffering from shock in addition to injuries. Bray was dead by the time the ambulance arrived at the hospital. Bray resided with his parents in Onehunga and was employed in his father’s contracting business. Hempleman, who is twenty, resides at Harbour View Terrace. Onehunga. lie is employed by A. and T. Burt. His injuries arc slight.
