HOUSING LOAN FOR CH’CH GETS GOVT. APPROVAL
£11,500 SANCTIONED'' FOR BRIGHTON BRIDGE. (Special to the “ Star.”) WELLINGTON, June 22. Mr D. G. Sullivan, chairman of the Housing Committee of the Christchurch City Council, has been officially informed that the Government has approved of the housing loan at 52 per cent interest, and also of the South New Brighten bridge loan of £11.500 at 6 per cent.
