City of Bombay is expected from Wellington on Tuesday or Wednesday next to discharge New York cargo. Kurnalpi will be dispatched about noon to-day for Napier, Auckland, Whangarei, Russell, Hokianga and other northern ports. . Canadian Conqueror is due at Auckland from Halifax on Wednesday next. Sittang is expected to sail from New York on June 9 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. She should arrive at Auckland on July 19. West Henshaw is timed to leave Auckland to-day for Timaru. City of Shanghai is expected to sail from New York on June 9 for Auckland, Wellington. Lyttelton, Dunedin and Newcastle. She is due at Auckland ° n j3evon is expected to leave New Plymouth to-day for Nelson. Cygnet was dispatched last evening for Kaikoura and Wellington. The auxiliary schooner Echo Is due here to-morrow from Blenheim to load on Monday for that port. Anamba is expected to sail from Lyttelton on Monday for Miramar, where she will load a further cargo of case oil for Auckland and • other North Island ports. The vessel which recently cijrned off her Chinese crew at Wellington now carries a white crew, consisting’ of nine deck hands and ten firemen and five stewards. Captain D. R. Manuka is expected to leave Melbourne on June 10 for Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. The vessel will be withdrawn from the intercolonial service on her arrival at Dunedin. She is expected here on June 17. Port Napier was due at New Plymouth yesterday from Dunedin to complete discharge of her London cargo. Mahana will be dispatched from Wellington this evening for Lyttelton. The vessel will discharge Liverpool cargo here, and is expected to sail for Dun-

edin on Sunday. City of Bombay, which has New York cargo to unload* is expected here on Sunday. R.M.S. Aorangi is due at Auckland on Monday from Vancouver, via Sydney. The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Ruapehu is due at Lyttelton from Bluff on Sunday to discharge London cargo. Captain B. Irwin, of the Maori, signed off that vessel yesterday, and has gone on holiday leave. Captain Sewell is in command of the Mararoa. Mr F. Collins, chief officer of the Maori, is on holiday. Mr J. Thompson, second officer of the Maori, has joined the Mararoa in a similar capacity, relieving Mr Evington, who is proceeding to Wellington for orders. A COMBINED SERVICE. The Aberdeen, Blue Funnel and White Star lines have entered into an arrangement to modify their services between Australia and England via South Africa. A combined service is to be carried on to a joint time-table. These three lines are very popular, and carry many passengers from New Zealand, from where through rates are quoted, the passengers joining at Sydney. The first saloon services will be undertaken by the Aberdeen liners Euripides, Themistocles, and Demosthenes, and the Blue Funnel steamers Nestor, Ulysses, Anchlses, and Ascanius, and intermediate services will be provided by the White Star line "cabin ” ships Ceramic, Suevlc, Runic and Medic. All vessels will make Fremantle their last port of call in Australia, and will call at Durban, Cape Town and the Canary Islands homewards. Outwards they will omit Durban and Fremantle, sailing from Cape Town direct to Albany. The first sailing under tho new timetable will bo the Ascanius from Sydney on August 16. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS.
