Young, Minister of Health, to-day with reference to the inclusion of a portion of the contagious area in the Waipawa Board's district, regarding which the board had arranged with the Watp&wa Board, whereby the area was assigned to Dannevirke. The Legislative Council had thrown out a clause giving effect to this arrangement on the ground that the boundaries of hospital districts should be boundaries of counties. The Minister, in reply, said that if the Boards would consult again and come to an agreement he would have legislation prepared to rectify the matter.
