IMPORTANT LODGE QUESTIONS DECIDED
Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, June 3. Private advice from Mr L. D. Ritchie, who attended the triennial meeting of the Grand Lodge of Australia, 1.0.0. F., states that much important business was transacted. It was decided to draw up a code for Australasia as the charter from the Sovereign Grand Lodge allows considerable latitude. The matter of. National Insurance, which is agitating the Friendly Societies in Australia, was discussed, and it was resolved to protest against any legilsation prejudicing the societies. Officers elected were—Grand Sire, Mr A. W. Bale (Queensland), deputy, Mr L. D. Ritchie (New Zealand); Grand Secretary, Mr J. C. Smith (Victoria); Grand Treasurer, Mr A. A. Watson (New South Wales); Junior P.G Sire, Mr Carl, F.S., Glasgow, (N.S.W.) The next session will be held at Brisbane. . _. - - -
