When asked this morning what progress had been made in the matter ot erecting a memorial to the late Mr Masse.}’, Mr A. D. M’Leod (Minister of Lands) stated that a meeting of the committee appointed by Parliament to deal with the question of the memorial would lie held soon after Parliament met. when no doubt something definite would be decided.
