SHIPPING NOTES. Karetu is timed to sail to-day for Timaru. Dunedin and Bluff. She will later return here via Oamaru and Timaru to load for SydneyOn arrival at Lyttelton yesterdaymorning Mararoa was docked for painting and cleaning and to complete her survev. She will come out of dock on Friday and sail for Wellington on Friday evening in place of the Maori. Kiwitea from Auckland via Portland and Wellington arrived here yesterday morning. She sailed last evening for Breeze arrived this morning from Timaru. The vessel will load here for Wellington, Picton and Wanganui. She will sail for the north this evening, taking additional cargo for Blenheim, Seddon and Ward. Mahana is expected at Lyttelton on Sunday from Wellington. The vessel has Liverpool cargo for discharge. Wootton arrived last evening from Wellington to load for Wtiungton. She is expected to sail this evening for the north. Kaponga is due here on Thursday with bunker coal for the Pareora. WAitemAta is due here on June 20 from San Francisco. The vessel is expected at Napier about June J 4. From Lyttelton she proceeds to Dunedin. Bluff, and New Plymouth. Kairanga arrived at Wellington on Monday from Adelaide. She was expected to sail for Auckland with the balance Cf her cargo last evening. The Kairanga left Adelaide at 1.30 a.m. on Mav 23 and fine weather was experienced i throughout the trip. Captain R.
