SWINDLER'S LONG RUN. * PHILADELPHIA, May 24. TRACED from London, Carl Edwa rd s, alias Baron Beaverbrook, and with thirty other aliases, one of the most, daring and successful international confidence men, has been arrested here. Many times a bigamist, Edwards is said to have victimised women to the extent of £200,000, taking their money and jewels and then deserting them, at the same time changing his name. One woman victim says she believes Edwards married fifty women.
