HOPE ABANDONED IN ROTORUA BOAT CASE
SEARCHERS FIND LAUNCH AND BODY IN LAKE. Per Pres* Association. ROTORUA, June 2. Hope has practically been abandoned of the survivors of the Ngongotaha boating accident. Launches dragging the lake, discovered a boat sunk in 20 feet of water, sitting on its stern, the bow some four feet below the surface, yesterday afternoon. Xo bodies have been recovered and dragging is being continued. Wolfgramm was a very powerful swimmer. He was married and had four small children. The body of the lad Matthews was found this morning in the vicinity of the sunken boat, and was taken to Ngongotaha.
