WIRELESS MEN MEET IN CONFERENCE.
By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Aus. and N.Z. Cable Association. SYDNEY, May 3 The Federal Conference on Wireless, convened by the Association for the Development of Wireless in Australia. New Zealand and Fiji, has opened. Representatives are present from all parts of the Commonwealth. Speakers urged better development of wireless. The conference resolved to ask the Federal Government to appoint a Royal Commission to inquire into the position of wireless in Australia and appointed a sub-committee to report on broadcasting copyright, wireless licenses, encouragement of experimental work and other subjects.
