MR E. L. M’KEON REPLIES TO MR W. S. E. MOYLE.

To the Editor. Sir,—ln your issue of Saturday last there appears a lengthy letter from Mr W. S. E. Moyle in reply to some facts given by the writer to your remv intention to enter into a general discussion with Mr Moyle. The matpresentative on April 28. It is not ter has recently been fully discussed at the meeting of the New Zealand Rugby League Council, when Mr Mojde had, and was given every opportunity of answering the charges made against him, and I feel certain that he will not deny that members of the council gave him every facility to fully answer every charge made, and what was the result, that by ten votes to two the members of the council found against him. Surely Mr Moyle should be satisfied. He has for months sought the opportunity of justifying his actions, and certainly made the best of a very weak defence, but unfortunately for himself he was quite unable to disprove the very serious allegations that I made against him. I freely admit that he is quite correct w’hen he states “ that I had been after him for a long time.” As a matter of fact it is nearly two years now since I first began to interest myself in this gentleman's doings. Holding the position I do on the Board of Control made it imperative. It certainly took me longer to “ fix ” him than at first anticipated, but in the end it came. Mr Moyle must remember that some months ago I gave him the opportunity of meeting me on the platform (at no cost to himself), but he chose to side-step the issue. In conclusion let me point out that Mr Moyle is definitely suspended (a telegram from the president of the council confirms this) and has now no voice in League football.—l am, etc., E. L. M’KEON, Hon. Treasurer, M.P. Board of Control.
