BIG SUMS HELD FOR EX-SOLDIERS.
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, April 30. Figures presented to the Wellington War Relief Association to dav showed that the funds at present held by varions societies in New Zealand total £722,055. which is sufficient to last lor seventeen years. It was also stated that the War Funds Council has £113,000 on which the societies can draw when their own funds are exhausted, The canteen funds amount to £170,000.
