TENNIS AFTERNOON

The Wesley tennis courts, Brown's Road, which' were lent tor the occasion, presented a very businesslike appearance yesterday afternoon, when a tournament organised by Mrs J. O. 1-■ Vernon and Mrs W. R. Hamilton was hold in aid of the fund for the Imperial Women's Hostel for Sailors, in connection with the British Sailors Society, A hnppv afternoon was spent and afternoon tea was served, but, owing to the wet weather later m toe afternoon, the players were unable to finish.
