Sir Joseph Ward arrived by the ferry steamer this morning and went on to Dunedin.

Colonel M. M. Gard’ner, D. 5.0., O.C. Southern Command, was a passenger from Wellington to-day. The Hon W. Earnshaw, M.L.C., arrived in Christchurch this morning from Wellington and went south.

Dr C. J. Reakes, Director of Agriculture, came south by the ferry steamer last night.

Mr D. Reese was on the passenger list of last night's ferry from Wellington.

The Hon R. Moore and Mrs Moore were south passengers this morning. Mrs Moore will go as far as Oamaru and Mr Moore will go on to Dunedin for the closing of the Exhibition.
