MR COATES IS TO 54 GET THINGS DONE.” Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, April 29. In reply to the Auckland builders’ complaint in regard to State advances for building, a reassuring statement has been received from the Prime Minister. Mr Hughes, acting for the builders, says that he cannot publish the statement. He says that it is possible that a settlement will be finalised in Wellington some time next month at a conference between Mr Coates and himself. Mr Coates’s prompt grasp of the position shows his far-reaching efficiency, sustaining his reputation as the man who gets things done.
