6000 DRUSES DID NOT HOLD SUEIDA.
By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Reuter’s Telegrams. (Received April 29, 11 a.m.) BEIRUT, April 28. Eleven battalions participated in the capture of Sueida on April 25. The town was defended by 6000 Druses. The French losses are stated to be eighty killed and 270 wounded. The rebel casualties were heavy.
