SUPREME COURT.

IN BANCO. Mr Justice Adams conducted a sitting of the Supreme Court in banco to-day. In the Bank of New Zealand v. Harriet M. Wright and others, Mr Brassington, for Mrs Morgan and her infant children, applied for a modification of a settlement entered into. Mr Wright appeared for the Bank of New Zealand. His Honor ordered the application to stand over, subject to the filing of an affidavit. In Lewisham v. Meredith and Hitchins, Mr Upham moved to set aside a judgment and for leave to defend. Mr Donnelly opposed the motion. The motion was granted. IN CHAMBERS. In Daniel Tranter, Christchurch, motor engineer, v. Lucy Tranter and James Lamb, Sydney, hotelkeeper, a decree nisi was made absolute, and an order was made that petitioner should have custody and control of the child.
