I. SEAY SATISFIED WITH N.S.W. TRIP. HAS LEARNED SOMETHING, HE SAYS. Ivan Seay, Canterbury's representative in the New Zealand tennis team which visited New South Wales, returned home this morning. He is thoroughly satisfied with the tour, and thinks the things he learned on "the other side" about service and volleying will be of use to him next season. During the first fortnight rain fell consistently; the courts were soft and cut about when the weather broke.
